A Deliciously Happy New Year

God has always blessed us with the food that we eat. This Medya Noche (New Year's Eve)  was a blast! We had so much in our table. O Lord, You truly feed the hungry souls. 

We had sweets. From fruits to salad. All are deliciouso.

Fun fun fun time with family.

I had a peeked on papa as he kept on getting bowl of fruit salad, yay, i never thought it's his favorite haha. We don't have a cake so maybe today i will buy one for the family.

The Lord provided.  

O, what a sweet God we have.  

Praise Jesus!

It's time to share whatever we had in our table. We bought plastic plates so we could distribute the food to our neighbor. Most importantly, may they feel the love that goes out with the food. The love that the Lord bestowed upon us. It's God's perfect gift for all of us...LOVE

Jesus gave and feed us with food, but we have been fed with so much of His love and that satisfied us the most.

Thank You, Father. I pray You bless and sanctify every food that we're about to partake. May this give us good health.

A New Year's Note from Sir LeRoy

As we finalize our resolutions for the New Year, reliving the times we've missed the mark, let us forgive one another, and ourselves, with gentleness and kindness while anchoring our souls in authentic Christian love by remembering three things:

1. Origins: Humans are created in the image of God and are accountable to him for how we live our lives.

2. Resurrection: Historical evidence supports the reality of Christ's resurrection. Therefore, let's familiarize ourselves with this proof. For it is this direct and circumstantial evidence that demonstrates the uniqueness of Christ, and establishes Christianity as a religion that has no cultural or spiritual equivalent
(1 Corinthians 15:14).

3. Scriptures: The Holy Bible is of divine origin rather than human. Keep in mind that without the enduring reference point of scriptural authority, societal norms and religious traditions are reduced to mere matters of preference.

Glory to God in the Highest!


I was certain that every thing we say reflects who we are. But not true for this lady who sent me a message  today.  Well, she say something because she wants proof  for something she has been praying for sometime now. She got the answer. She cried because truth hurts. I understand her pain, i've been through it before but she's into it now. The pain left me long ago, hers just started.

God has His reasons. He got a purpose for everything. We may not understand it now but in the perfect time, God is able to heal every wounded hearts and soul. The time actually starts TODAY.

I pray for the Lord's comfort and peace be upon her.

May she continue with the journey believing that God loves her more than she can ever imagine.

As we move into this Christmas Season, it is important for every Christian to be able to explain what they believe and why they believe it (1 Peter 3:15-16).

No one can be talked into the Kingdom of God. Only God can change the heart. However, it is our responsibility to prepare ourselves through prayer, meditation, and study of the Scriptures to be the most effective tools in the hands of Almighty God. Then God will bring into our paths those whose hearts he has prepared to accept his Son.

STRENGTH

Ok here's what had happened...(wink)

We went to manila, specifically located in Araneta Coliseum, to attend a concert.

Our very own I.D.04 (Infinite Devotion 2004) sang their latest composition entitled "Strength". This is another awesome craft written from the heart.

Just kept on echoing the song lyrics from the moment i heard it until now that i just needed to type it down too.

Here's some:

Concert went well. Just something's missing or maybe i am craving for more revivals and joy restoration. More DANCING and PRAISE 'coz the Lord Jesus deserves only the BEST!

I haven't seen my old fellows' faces. The ones from Baguio City but it's ok. I know the Lord is keeping them in His truth.

The main point was that, in everything that i've experienced there, i have found my strength in Jesus alone. Amidst the longing or craving, i still believe that only Jesus can satisfy me and this my soul knows very well.

On this Day I Declare

I have been waiting for you, my dear beloved partner...for so long in my life.

I believe you came just on time. I have been broken but it's not because of you that i have been back from the life that im having now. God uses you as instrument though. And for that it's just alright to give the honor and glory and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank you for the support, the concern, for the love that goes beyond distance and beyond description. Thank you for your faithfulness. The Lord has given me someone that i can trust, someone that i know i deserved to have. Praise the Lord!

Youth Fellowship

Psalm 71:17
Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.

These are my God-given young people. I love being with them and being their senior...not a mother figure hahaha.

They are a joy to me. Life is so fulfilling asking the Lord for guidance and guiding this youth through the wisdom the Lord has given me.


Ecclesiastes 11:9
Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgment.

I was young and innocent...but i certainly would accept the fact that in my childhood,i have made mistakes. And i am also making some. And this i know, are not hidden in His eyes. It has been accounted for in my name. And God's saving hands captured my heart. It's His heart in mine. I am one blessed daughter of a Living God.

Isaiah 40:30
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;

Like every youth, i have some weak points. But as the Bible says, my strength comes from the Lord. My Lord has not abandoned me, never will He do that because He loves me with an everlasting love and He is true in His words and promises.

Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Youth have struggles mostly when it comes to the works of the flesh. But once they knew Jesus and learn of His words and teachings, and understand them, they will grow as faith warriors.

I pray the youth could overcome the lustful years. May they grow and mature in faith and love for the Lord. And fear God above all!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

The Lord is our Giver and we are the Thanks-giver. The Lord deserves a million thanks and appreciation for all the things that He has done for us. Ultimately because of saving us and sacrificing Himself to show His deep love for us.

John 3:16 For God so love the world that He gave His only Begotten Son and whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

On this very special day, i pray that we spend this time talking with our Savior and Provider. May it remind us of the beautiful and fruitful life He has given us as well as the strength that we are able to endure every circumstances we have in life.

The glory belongs to God alone.

Frog and Water

There's one little thing that frightens me...it's the "FROG".

The thought of it made my body shivered. I don't wanna see one. I don't wanna encounter one. I don't wanna touch or hold one.

When i was a child (literal), i used to play with friends and we're at the pond looking for frogs and some more insects.

But the fear started when i was in high school where in we needed to dissect a frog. I played with frogs but i never kill one. When we opened a frog, we begin by throwing off stones onto it's head so it will lose consciousness. Then we removed the skin and everything follows. I used "we" because it's a group activity. Even if i don't touch any part of that frog's body i felt a certain pain looking at it. I had this guilty feeling. While the other looks like enjoying what they've done, i know they don't and wont understand the pain of being killed part by part. It's a horrible scene. It's like murder. And from then on, everytime i see frogs, the fear and pain was there. I think it's more of i am afraid that if they can talk they will tell me i was the one who killed their ancestor. Oh yeah, weird i know, but that's what and how i feel. I am afraid they might bite me or do things that would hurt me.

Until now i am trying to overcome this fear. I know it's not good for my heart too because it's my heart that got affected just by seeing frogs. I wanted to be delivered from it. Oh Lord Have mercy on me.

Last week, my family and i visited my aunts place. It's near the river/pond. I like it a lot. the water's clean. People use it to wash clothes and in some place, they could drink it too. People are not allowed to throw garbage or they will be penalized. This is discipline imposed in that place. And i find it very interesting and just right.

I run and meet the water. I like it. I love it. People says it never runs dry. It's very clear and clean as i can see. Like a crystal. Living water.

The Bible mentioned about the streams of living water. Oh what a good feeling to drink on that water that never runs dry. Water that fills your body and soul. Water that comes from the Lord. The presence of God. The Spirit of God. It quenches the thirst. It made us whole.

When i see the water, i forgot about the fear. I am at peace. I am comforted by the beauty of God's creation. The Lord does awesome things.

The frogs, the water/river/pond and the half-day visit are three different things with a different impact on me. It's a mixture of feelings and thoughts. But i understand the Lord allowed fear so i could look up to Him and desire to be comforted by His spirit that flows like a living water, a living hope. The visit was like reminders of those two things. On how to overcome fear and have a living hope in the Lord. I have Jesus, what can fear do to me?

The Lord be glorified forever and ever. Amen.

Ants

²⁵The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;

These are creatures of little strength but they are much wiser and smarter than the big creatures God made.

When i was younger, i used to play with ants. Just looking at them and pointing my fingers on the way they'd go. One day i saw this red ant carrying a piece of bread on his shoulder, on the way, he passed it on to another ants and same goes goes for another.

They are weak and they knew it but it doesn't hinder their courage to save some for rainy days. They have been united...helping one another as though they are families. They served one another. They are wiser than i thought they were. One awesome creation of our Lord who is truly an awesome God.

A child was asked to write a book report on the entire Bible, and here it is.....

The Children's Bible in a Nutshell

In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one, but I think He must be a lot older than that.
Anyway, God said, 'Give me a light!' and someone did.
Then God made the world.
He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet.
Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden.....Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars.

Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel.
Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah, who lived to be like a million or something.
One of the next important people was Noah, who was a good guy, but one of his kids was kind of a Ham. Noah built a large boat and put his family and some animals on it. He asked some other people to join him, but they said they would have to take a rain check.

After Noah came Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob was more famous than his brother, Esau, because Esau sold Jacob his birthmark in exchange for some pot roast. Jacob had a son named Joseph who wore a really loud sports coat.
Another important Bible guy is Moses, whose real name was Charlton Heston. Moses led the Israel Lights out of Egypt and away from the evil Pharaoh after God sent ten plagues on Pharaoh's people. These plagues included frogs, mice, lice, bowels, and no cable.

God fed the Israel Lights every day with manicotti. Then he gave them His Top Ten Commandments. These include: don't lie, cheat, smoke, dance, or covet your neighbor's stuff.
Oh, yeah, I just thought of one more: Humor thy father and thy mother.
One of Moses' best helpers was Joshua who was the first Bible guy to use spies. Joshua fought the battle of Geritol and the fence fell over on the town.

After Joshua came David. He got to be king by killing a giant with a slingshot. He had a son named Solomon who had about 300 wives and 500 porcupines. My teacher says he was wise, but that doesn't sound very wise to me.
After Solomon there were a bunch of major league prophets. One of these was Jonah, who was swallowed by a big whale and then barfed up on the shore.

There were also some minor league prophets, but I guess we don't have to worry about them.
After the Old Testament came the New Testament. Jesus is the star of The New. He was born in Bethlehem in a barn. (I wish I had been born in a barn too, because my mom is always saying to me, 'Close the door! Were you born in a barn?' It would be nice to say, 'As a matter of fact, I was.')

During His life, Jesus had many arguments with sinners like the Pharisees and the Democrats.
Jesus also had twelve opossums.

The worst one was Judas Asparagus. Judas was so evil that they named a terrible vegetable after him.
Jesus was a great man. He healed many leopards and even preached to some Germans on the Mount.
But the Democrats and all those guys put Jesus on trial before Pontius the Pilot. Pilot didn't stick up for Jesus. He just washed his hands instead.

Anyways, Jesus died for our sins, then came back to life again. He went up to Heaven but will be back at the end of the Aluminum. His return is foretold in the book of Revolution.

NuGen Event entitled "ANAK"

It was a great day with Jesus and young brethren. The youth, also known us "NuGen" or New Generation Youth participated happily by doing some presentation that blessed everyone.

They have been grouped into four but only three groups presented their God-given talents. The fourth group have their reason and that is accepted.

First Group sing joyfully into the Lord. Thanks be to God for the gift He have bestowed upon them and the faith that is growing in their hearts.

The second group made a dance presentation with the song, "God is Great". They have portrayed beautifully how Great God is in their young lives. Praise the Lord for the strength He have given to this young people at Church.

The Third Group sang also and made it wonderful to our soul. Each one have their gift and each one uses it. This is the best part. Being called and answering God's calling. Glory to Thy Majesty!

We hope to have another celebration in group with Jesus.

May the youth continue to seek for truth and seek Jesus in their lives.

We are advancing God's Kingdom. We know that in every events inside or outside the Church, this young people will truly be blessed by our Heavenly Father.

"ANAK" is a tagalog word for "CHILD"...for we are all called children of God according to His loving-kindness and grace.

The honor, glory and power belongs to our Lord Jesus alone!

I have been surrounded by fears caused by past relationships and the pains along with every disappointments and discouragements. This all started when i became a Christian. And no, i will never regret knowing and accepting Jesus in my life. Never will i forget that He is my Savior and Lover of my soul.



Being a Christian isn't excepting us from sufferings but its a test of faith. We're running a race wherein a certain rule is followed - not giving up but holding on to God's promises - for in the perfect or right time, we will reap what we sow if we didn't give up as our labor is not in vain.



Just after the rain stopped and a new day started with a beautiful sunlight, i realized that i have a living hope in a Living God. It takes away the pain and it leads me to forgive those who cause me pain. I was delivered. Made new and became a better person. I am blessed beyond description because Mighty is He whom i serve.



Glory to God. Thanks be to God. I love You Jesus.

What this Writings are All About?

For all the things, topics, ideas - emotion-based, faith-based, personal-based experiences - that i've wrote in the past, there's one thing that led me back here...it's the LOVE OF GOD!

I am one blessed person because the Lord loves me with an everlasting love.

I am thankful for the faith and a living hope that i've found because of the Lord's grace and compassion to my soul.

I am a strong woman as God whom i serve is a Mighty and Powerful Father.

I am what i am because God's will prevailed in me.

I am a special princess of my King.

I am a servant of the Most High God who's throne is above all thrones.

I am a daughter of our Heavenly Father.

And this blog is all about God...

not me.

I will be sharing something about my life but i would like to lift the Name of our Lord in every writings that i'll have. I am God's hand-piece. And if God gave me the ability to talk, i will be blessed to be God's mouth-piece too. Serving God is a great privilege, not an obligation, but a special favor to glorify God in our lives.

In every aspect of my life, in all situation, in all ups and downs, in the silence and shouts, in the morning and evening, in all joys and pain, in all plans and decisions, in the ministry - - - GOD BE GLORIFIED!!!

God cannot lie.

....sometimes sorrows can break individual people to bring them to God.

A week before the flood came, there's this news about putting/installing up RFID to every vehicles in Manila, Philippines.

I have learned from Christian sources and videos on youtube that these kinds are signs...the RFID, the chips...technology that evil forces or should i simply say, devil/satan uses to get through people's senses. The devil came to steal, kill and destroy. Such things as technology, though of help to us, we must admit...has had affected people's way of thinking and feeling and reasoning.

As the Lord has plans for mankind, the devil also have. But who can understand the mind of God? Can the devil read it. Certainly not.

As the rfid will be installed soon, the Lord sends out flood that washed out many vehicles on the road in Manila. God's will prevails over that darness the devil planned.

What hurts is that, the leaders of our nation joined together to work with the works of the devil. Signing up laws, allowing such things...

I don't know enough to say anything against our leader...i just believe i have my eyes opened on these issues. The leaders are unaware of this evil plan. All we can do is pray for them.

Do pray for the Philippines and the filipino people. God blesses each nation who believes in His Sovereignty, His Might, His Power, His ABility, His Grace.

May the heart of the people who have been affected by the calamity be opened to our Lord Jesus...in prayer, may they be all united...may all of us be united. There's a rainow of hope after all these things. God's light is shining unto us.

This song has been my favorite whenever me and my friends do our friday karaoke at a public cafe.

When asked by my boyfriend what would i say about the song and why is it special, i just stared at him and said, "just the tone" and then smile.

Looking back, i haven't had a real life. It has been so dark in the past. A life that doesn't seem like having a direction. What i want i want no matter how impossible it is and even if i wouldn't get it. And what others want, i want. I have been surrounded with fears, jealousy, greediness, selfishness. It's terrible, lost, horrible...pick your adjectives.

A life that is centered in the presence and loving arms of God...what i've found in Jesus. God changes me from 90 to 180 degrees...that is good for now i supposed. But oh how i desire to reach another degree in my life...all centered by God.

DREAM

I was at this big farm field surrounded with ready to harvest wheat and rice. Everything looks yellow or gold. I started harvesting it all by myself but in my heart i know i cannot do it alone. And so i called for help. I've seen people passing by but they show no interest on what i am doing. Cry for help because i hopelessly wanted to get it all done for just one day and even though i am tired, there's this strength in me that made me courageous enough to stay and work in that field.

I cried out for help but no one wanted to give their hands. Some were laughing and some just ignoring me.

At the end of the day, some armies came and i heard that they are looking for me. I tried to hide and so i run and hide myself onto dark caves where i can be safe ( as i thought that's the only place where i will be safe)

AND THEN...

The sound of the television woke me up.

Attitude Problem

I had been rebuked several times about a certain attitude that i weren't able to overcome (until now). My heart grows weak and i feel so down.

One of my faithful friend, while on General Bible Study called me and asked if i would like to hear the preaching/teaching even on phone. This friend of mine doesn't even know that im struggling with a certain behavior problem. But i said yes to her.

Whew! The preaching feeds me. And thanks be to God for using a friend as an instrument for me. I am willing to be renewed and be changed...all because of the Lord.

From the preaching comes the word "humility and obedience". It says there that our faith is seen through being humble and learning to obey. God is helping us to change through rebukes or correction.

And again, i am one blessed soul because the Lord remains faithful and gracious to a sinner like me.

Praise and glory be to our Lord God Almighty.

BEAR A CHANCE

My brother asked me to write a poem for him. He needs to memorized it and discuss in front of the class on Monday. OK, he asked and i cannot say no because i promised to help him in everything especially when it comes to his studies.



I know a poem requires a rhyme. And it should be simple and understandable.



I am doing it now and i would like to share it with you because i need your help with the grammar and the use of punctuation which i admit i am not very much educated with it.



The title of the poem is "A New Day"

Every morning I wake up

The breezes are beyond my grasp

But one thing, I understand

This is a new day to live, though hard

In my young mind, I glance

Trying to cope up with the crisis, and stand

Parents say life isn’t easy, to bear a chance

This is a new day to live, but I am proud

Go to school, learned another lesson
