Got the Light

IF...You're happy and you know it CLAP your hands!

Happiness comes from God.

I am just so happy today...as always... because God remained gracious and is full of compassion (isn't it the same?)

I remembered the song we teach at Church for the children...which i always do now...lol...CLAPPING MY HANDS even if someone else's looked at me as somewhat crazy over the clapping..haha...

I am happy and i know it.

Thanks be to God.

These hands are meant for God...to worship Him, to lift His Name Higher, to proclaim His awesome power, to live with His living hope, to be His.

Use your hands to worship Jesus. Clap when you're happy.

We are one blessed creature. We have Jesus.

Oh what an awesome thing to clap hands today and always.

God bless you all.

"Somewhere" HELPS

I would like to testify on the greatness and goodness of God.

A minute after i reach home, my cousin shouts for help. Her younger brother continuously bringing off the food he just ate...keeps on puking. He has been sick for 48 hours and his body seem like not accepting anything...even food.

He keeps on puking, it never seem to stop.

Until blood came out from his nose and mouth.

The next thing happen, he lost his breath. He fell down on the floor with all those blood flowing.

Using the community ambulance, we rushed him to the hospital.

While on our way, his mom cried on my shoulder while i am holding my cousin's hands. Aunt was so scared. She keeps on repeating my name asking me to do something when in fact i cannot do anything. I was crying also.

Crying while praying.

I asked my aunt to calm down and pray. God is listening i know.

While holding my cousin's hand and looking at his young face, i prayed for God's grace and mercy...i prayed for "life restoration". I used the words i heard from what the elders in the Church keeps on saying. I forget the doubt on me being "JUST A MILK IN FAITH". I felt a sudden need for divine intervention. I asked the Lord to bring my cousin's soul back even if im not really sure if he's dead already. All i know is that either he is alive or dead, i need to keep the faith that he will never die....no not yet...it's not yet time.

We're getting nearer to the hospital when suddenly i've seen fluid bubbling through his mouth.

I kept praying.

While praying, i again felt the need to use scriptures from the Bible.

And the problem is that "i am not sure" where can those words can be exactly seen in the Bible.

And so in my prayer i said, " Lord, in Your Word you said SOMEWHERE THERE about restoring soul, restoring life, You being our healer and Great Physician, that with You all things are possible, that You are gracious, full of compassion, SOMEWHERE IN THE BIBLE it talks about Your people as living testimony of Your goodness,...."

Cast out the works of the enemy in this situation, in Jesus Mighty Name.

Still crying when i ended the prayer with an "Amen".

After praying, i felt my cousin's hands reacting to mine. He moved his fingers. Slowly bit his lips. He looks so weak.

He said he cannot breathe. The rescue team asked me to massage his face so he won't fell asleep and to talk to him, tried to keep him awake. I told him not to sleep and that we're getting nearer to the hospital.

Still he seem so weak.

But my faith in God keeps me believing that my cousin were safe, strong and secure because he has been healed through Jesus' Blood. There is covering there. There's healer. There's power in His Name.

Prayer works! "Somewhere in the Bible" helps!

I realized that it doesn't matter if you knew the chapter and verses in the Bible, what matters most is that we knew the words written on it by heart.

My cousin are now safe. He has been admitted in that hospital. And we will continue praying for his complete healing. God is gracious and is full of compassion.

A very present help in times of need ~ all the time.

God's schedule are never a conflict with ours.

We have a battle. Battle belongs to the strong. God won't allow us to be tested beyond our capacity to endure and overcome it. When the tough gets tougher, God is there and He is not leaving us but stays with us whatever, wherever, whenever, however, forever.

God be glorified.

God has somewhere for you in His Words.

Praise, honor, glory and power belong to God.

Praise Jesus Christ.

On Taking Online Quizzes

Not much to do today. So i decided to open my computer and look for something interesting.

Pop-ups....Bling!

I saw an online quiz. In here, you will choose what type of quiz would you like to take up.

I am just having fun but ofcourse i chose the ones that had to do with my spiritual life.

And these are the result of the quizzes i've took:

1. What is your soul name?

Result: Grace or Benjiman

"you are kind to all things and that's how it is going to be"

2. What is God's gift to you?

Result: A WORSHIPPER

"Your destiny is a worshipper. Worship is a natural instinct and a basic need for every person. A simple definition of worship is to regard with great devotion or to honor as a divine being. Worship happens when we sing to God, whether in church or alone - in our cars or in the shower. Your desire is to please the heart of God, it is worship, no matter where the location or how many are involved. A life of praise and worship fills your deepest needs and amazingly it also brings great joy to God. Ask God it might be you !"

3. Which mighty woman of the Bible are you most like?

Result: You are most like DEBORAH

"You aren't afraid to speak your mind. You know what you want, and go for it. You are motivated, and you revel in personal victories. You are wise in many ways, and you know well, and trust the God you serve. You are courageous, and can look fear in the face. You are a victor."

4. What Bible character are you?

Result: King David

"People like you and follow your leadership. You love deeply even though relationships can cause you great pain. You’re sensitive and just want to get along with everyone."

5. Bible Trivia

Result: Berean

"Person of noble character. You read and examine the scriptures daily."

Note: Im taking this quiz without knowing it's reality.

I believe only God will tell us who we are to Him. Reading and studying His words...is the best thing to know.

Fearing God and knowing His purpose in your life are important for "soul prosperity"

In His grace we have found our identity. It's in Jesus.

Tell me What you think :)

For the past couple of months, i was trained to be a part of the Church "teacher" for young believers...not the youth...but the children at Church.

Since i just started, i tried to familiarized myself with the name of the kids and also tried to familiarized with their attitude. Whew! Each of them are unique.

These are kids aged from 2 years old to 10. So i even see myself a nanny at times. Haha...but it was cool being with this cutie con bratty kids.

Last Sunday, i've asked them about their memory verse. Some don't know anything yet and some knew a lot.

Here are some of the verses the kids mentioned:

*** BENJ - John 10:30 I and the Father are one.

*** JANINE - Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

*** SIMON - Romans 8:28 For we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

*** DAVID - Mark 9:29 He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer."

*** KAZANDRA - Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!

*** JOSHUA - Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.

Joshua's chosen verse made me stopped for awhile, looking at him, figuring out where the world did he got the idea of choosing it. Oh no, and he said that's the only verse he's very much familiar with. And he is eight (8) years old. Is his father a drunkard? Is he surrounded by drunkards?

I did asked him if he understood the verse. He said "YES", with still the innocence shown on his face.

He said, when he gets older, he will always remember the verse. He doesn't want to lose his dignity by drinking alcohol. Ok, im not gonna faint i promise. Did he just mentioned the word "DIGNITY"?

He is special. At a young age, he knew something that could made him lose his dignity. Liquor are very strong.

From one of the site, i've read that ,

"The "evil spirit of alcoholism"challenges the one drinking the intoxicating drink to do things that person would not even imagine of doing when he is sober. The Bible says "Beer is a brawler"

So this boy got a point.

More to learn from the kids.

God bless us all!!!

On Knowing Who God is

I believe there's only "ONE GOD"

As i pray, i've asked for revelation that will take away my confusion.

I don't wanna live in the extreme.

I don't like debate and choosing what is what and which is which.

In order for us to know the truth, let us altogether read our Bible.

People have different interpretation and from that interpretation rose up debates, miscommunications, etc.

Because if everyone's interpretations are "all CORRECT" then why are there debates.

Debates are a product of being prideful.

God taught us the virtue of humility.

No one knows better than God alone.

And with regards to the revelation to me today, it will be seen in the book of James :)

James 2:19
Thou believest
that there is one God;
thou doest well:
the devils also believe,
and tremble.

I Want God

I want God!

Our God is Holy and Mighty. As creator of the universe and judge of eternity, He holds all power. Yet, His greatest desire is to provide for us. He wants to dwell within us and prepare us to spend eternity with Him.

Story to Share today:

----> A small crippled boy was hurrying to catch a commuter train. Carrying some gift packages under his arm, he was experiencing great difficulty in manipulating his crutches. As the people rushed by, someone accidentally bumped into him knocking the brightly wrapped parcels in all directions. The man who caused the mishap stopped only long enough to scold the youngter for being so clumsy and getting in his way. Another gentleman, seeing the boy's distress, went to his aid. He quickly picked up the scattered gifts and slipped a dollar bill into the youngter's pocket, saying, "I'm sorry, Sonny! I hope this makes up a little for your trouble. " With a smile he went on his way. The child, who had seldom been shown such kindness, called after him in gratitude, "Master -- please, Sir, are you Jesus?" "No" replied his new-found friend, "but i am one of His followers."

Let us humble ourselves and let God work through us. May our example create a desire in others to know more about Jesus.

The greatest thing in all the world is knowing Him. ( It sure is).

Let us walk in a manner that will cause people to want God.

Learned Today in Church

Steps in Accepting Christ

Step 1: BE SURE!

If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can be sure you are a Christian. You are not a Christian because you go to church, or because you do good things.

The Bible says "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Christ came to die for our sins, so that "To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12 ).

Step 2: THE HOLY SPIRIT!

God has given the gift of the Holy Spirit to those who accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. When Jesus left this earth, He said that God His Father would send the Holy Spirit to be in His disciples. If you are a Christian, you can ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit each and every day.

Step 3: BIBLE!

God has not left us without help in leading the Christian life. He inspired holy writers over the centuries to write the Bible - 66 books organized into the New Testament and Old Testament. You can learn about Jesus; learn how to live a Christian life; and study the lives of godly men and women of old by reading the Bible. God has given you "His instruction book" to help us live a victorious Christian life.

Step 4: CHURCH!

You are not alone in living the Christian life. All the true Christians in the world are now your spiritual brothers and sisters. We encourage you to seek out other Christians near you who can help you grow in your Christian life. You can learn about God; spend time with other believers; worship God; and help and serve others in your local church.

Step 5: PRAYER!

God has given us the privilege of talking with Him. Talking with God is called prayer. We can pray to God at any time; Christ said He would be with us always. God as our heavenly Father loves to spend time with us. We can pray to Him and tell Him we love Him; we can ask Him for His help; we can pray for others. You can pray to God throughout the day, but it is also good to set aside some time each day when you can spend concentrated time in prayer to God.

Step 6: SHARE YOUR FAITH!

When Jesus left His disciples, He told them that they would be His witnesses - that they were to tell others about Him. As Christians, we have the privilege of telling other people the good news that Christ died for them. There are many ways of doing this; you can talk to people, you can send them an e-mail, you can give them a Christian book. You can also ask God to have His love shine through you. It is important also to pray for people you know who need to come to know Christ.

Good Day

and a lovely days ahead.

Claiming my blessings in Jesus' Name.

Psalm 80

1 Hear us, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock; you who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth
2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your might; come and save us.
3 Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.
4 O LORD God Almighty, how long will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.
6 You have made us a source of contention to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.
7 Restore us, O God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.
8 You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it.
9 You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 It sent out its boughs to the Sea, [a] its shoots as far as the River. [b]
12 Why have you broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its grapes?
13 Boars from the forest ravage it and the creatures of the field feed on it.
14 Return to us, O God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine,
15 the root your right hand has planted, the son [c] you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish.
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, O LORD God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.

My God, Your God, The God of Israel

Music has been there when life started on earth.

From the breath of God to our breathing hearts.

I am glad to have a life-filled-with-music. I am blessed to have found the greatest of the music people are singing today. It's the music for the soul. A life-fed hymns where there are spiritual connections. Songs of signs, miracles and wonders. Thanks to Miss Amy, a special daughter of God whom He chooses to remind us what music can do in our lives.

And my soul longs for more.

The video i'm posting today is very much an inspiration to me. It leads me to trust my inner and outer being...my everything to God.

And it reminded me that God is not only a God of Israel, but He is our God.

So whenever you are, whoever you are, if you believe in God...He is your GOD. ]

God bless us all and i hope you could listen to this song as well.

Lyrics:

He will be like rain falling on the field
Like showers watering the earth
In His days the righteous flourishes
Prosperity abounds
He will rule from sea to sea

All kings will bow down to Him
All nations will serve the Lord our King
He endures as the sun
As long as the moon
His Majesty will shine through all the world

Praise be to the Lord, my God, and of Israel
Had it not been because of You
Who'll be on my side?
Praise be to His Glorious Name eternally
All of my hope, all of my help
All of my life, because of You

What a Friend we Have in Jesus

One of the best loved of all hymns.

I sure do listened to it when i was younger.

And while thinking about my friends, it suddenly came up popping in my head.

What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and grief to bear.
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer.
O what peace we often forfeit!
O what needless pain we bear!
All because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer...
Can we find a friend so faithful,
who will all our sorrow share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
take it to the Lord in prayer.

He Never...

God never tests us to hurt us,
but to help us.
He never tests us to destroy us,
but to build us up.
He never tests us to wounds us,
but to heal us.

We need to relinguish the idea that God's testing is punishment. It isn't. When God disciplines us and tests us, it is not because He is against us but precisely because He is for us.

I've got test/trials to overcome. But i've learned that for every battle, God will be fighting for me. Isn't it wonderful that along our journey whether it's a fight between hidden or visible enemies, physical or spiritual, self or others....God is there for us?

Never will He ever leave us or forsake us.

Praise Jesus oh my soul!

Let Us Witness Together

It's now or it's now.

With open heart and mouth, let us be a living witness of Jesus Christ.

I decided to know how (because i know WHY)

And here's something that i thought will be of help to me and to anyone who's also trying to make their way out of SILENCE.

It all begins here -->

Have you ever experienced a deep-longing for PRAISE and PRAISING?

This blog has been inspired by fellow bloggers and friends who longed so much and is not satisfied ( as we not ought to be satisfied) with the way they praise God.

I longed for more because He deserves MORE and is worthy for MORE from praisers like us.

Got my Bible inspiration in the book of :

Psalm 84:4 (King James Version)

4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Photo of Praise

O how i wanted to glorify God in everything that i do.

This year, as i get to know Him better and brighter each day, i am thinking of ways on how i could lift His Name up higher.

The blog thing is an awesome reminder to put God on top of everything even on our love life, family life, our daily journey, our walks, every decisions and goal, actions and reactions, thoughts and dreams and everything.

As God continuously changing me, i realized i am really a changed person. I am not the same comparing to what i am yesterday.

I come to realized that it's not only my heart that God changes but my whole life.

I love photos. And most of the things people could see on my camera or cellphones are my own reflections. My face, my clothes, my bags, just me me me.

And now, i still love to look on my reflection. But it's not on the face, body or anything in physical.

I can see God's reflection as i look in the water that i drink, the trees, mountains, little children, tears, laughter, books of divine revelations and teachings, flowers, bodies of water, preachers, teachers, songs...life.

I started taking pictures not of myself but on those things where God's beauty dwells.

Inspired by bloggers and friends, i started expressing my love for God on those pictures like this one and i called it my "Photo/s of Praise"

Glory to God!

Talk to your Mountain

MARK 11:23 NKJ
"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, `Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says."

"Talk to mountains? Do you think I'm crazy?"

Jesus talked to things, and taught that "whoever" could also
speak to mountains.

A mountain is primarily any obstacle that stands in your way.

Faced with obstacles, most Christians pray to God. But Jesus
told us to speak directly to the obstacle and tell it to be
removed.

There is nothing wrong with discussing things with God. You
should. But when something is blocking your progress -- Jesus
said YOU should tell it to get out of the way.

Most Christians just speak to God about the mountain, instead
of following Jesus' directions and speaking directly to the
mountain.

Are you just talking to God about the problems in your life,
instead of talking directly to the problems and telling them to
be removed?

MATTHEW 17:20 NKJ
So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for
assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed,
you will say to this mountain, `Move from here to there,' and
it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

According to Jesus, unbelief keeps us from speaking to our
mountains.

What is the mountain in your life? What stands in the way of
your progress? What holds you back from going forward and
fulfilling God's plan?

..Speak God's Word to that mountain!

..Speak to the devil and his forces and tell them to get out of
your affairs.

..Speak to sickness and tell it that it can't stay in your body.

..Speak to debt and financial lack and tell them to be removed
from your life.

..Speak to doubt, fear, and worry and tell them to be gone.

..If you say, "I just can't believe it would do any good for me
to talk to problems," that's why you still have them.

Read what Jesus said again, and again.

And now i am blessed and glad that God is showing me His ways.

Thanks be to God.

Isaiah 40:8

Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."
