Greeting Cards, Thank You Cards, Birthday Cards, Farewell Cards

Whew i really feel like leaving. Friends at Church gave me cards for reasons i wrote as title to this blog.

I even joked at a friend telling her that she really wanted me to go because of her handing me a card.

Oh i am teary eyed thinking about all this things.

Have a bunch of cards that i don't know when will i start reading it because i know it will just make me feel so sad.

But i thank everyone who did so. I see love from their eyes. I feel their sadness of me leaving too. I know the reality that i will always have them in my life.

Prayers are the best farewell gift. I'll surely need it. I am thankful for it.

I am loved....thank You Lord, it's all because of You.

Visa Journey to the States and the Thoughts of Leaving

Married for 3 years and not together for the last 2 years celebrating our anniversaries. It's not that easy you know. But God always finds a way.

11 months ago, my husband left the Philippines and went back to his homeland, the US. 2months after he filed the petition for the spousal visa or specifically known as IR1 Visa. And the journey continues from there til i got the visa on hand which was approved August 7, 2013.

I couldnt imagine it will be this early. Its mix emotions of excitement, sadness, thankfulness, fear, and sometimes just wanted to think about it. I got pressured by family and friends too.

My ministry is very important for me. Its my life. I cannot think of days without it. My Everpraisers Music Team will sure be missed. I love my Church where the Lord led me to. My pastor, co-ministers, co-servants, members and the whole congregation are all special to me. My heart is crushed by the thoughts of leaving and some part of it are relieved because finally......finally, i will be able to be with my husband...another ministry.

The visa journey periods of unending goosebumps and anxieties and worries and fear of the medical results and interview with the consul had ended. And there's more journey awaiting me just around the corner.

BUT ONE THING IS SURE....I KNOW, WHEREVER I GO, GOD IS THERE.

There will be a lot of adjustments: on food, climate, people, time, etcetera....but i believe THROUGH JESUS, i will be able to make it....

So help me God.

ATTITUDE

After walking around and paying some bills, i stopped at Chowking Olongapo to get my lunch. This has been my favorite place for meals because they offer satisfactory food and real food compared to other fastfood chains. I always order a cup of rice, kangkong, tofu and just water.
But today, i have a different kind of experience. One cashier/staff got my attention. Another staff incharge of delivery went to the place near the counter to inquire of the order when he accidentally touch the small cup that is being filled, by the lady staff, with gravy. The lady doesnt like it and all of the sudden left with a bad face.
I was second in line by the counter and by the time the cashier ask me of my order, i was blank. I got distracted from the scene that got my attention.
I don't like the attitude of the lady staff to thing that the man staff already said SORRY. I believe the man staff is new to the fastfood. And everybody made mistakes on first times.
And the worst thing is that i ordered Chowking Lauriat instead of my favorite dish here.
Oh well, attitude, especifically BAD ATTITUDE can be distractive...very distractive.
While i am writing this post, i can only ask for forgiveness for the feelings that i've felt.
LESSON:
It's hard working in a fastfood chain. Its a fast-phase enviroment. Employees should have that great and extended patience at all times. Their actions and reactions will affect how the customers feel about the food that  they are gonna eat.
Anyway, this is also the first time i've encountered such an attitude.  And this won't stop me from eating chowking meals and going back here again and again and referring it to my friends.

Dating Tips for Christians

I saw this on facebook group known as "all true men" and i believe this is worth sharing.

10 Dating Tips for Christian Singles

1) Do not be unequally yoked.

Take II Cor. 6:14 seriously.
Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? (NLT)

If you are dating someone who doesn't have a personal relationship with Christ, you are playing with fire. If you fall in love, what will you do? Don’t let the relationship progress to a physical point and then hope you can cut it off later.

2) Put on the armor of God daily. You need all the help you can get in today’s world. Are you spending time with God? Do you depend on Him to meet your needs of love and security? You can resist temptation if you put on the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:10-20).

3) Put obedience over passion. Not everything we do that’s right, feels good. In fact, usually the opposite is true. It feels incredibly good to give in to passion. But, the authority of Christ needs to take precedence over your physical drives. Society tells you to give in to the moment. Christ tells you to be obedient to His word.

4) Physical expression must be appropriate. Physical touch/intimacy should correspond with commitment. This doesn't mean anything goes if you are engaged. Physical touch should be in the context of a meaningful relationship, not reduced to satisfaction of personal need.

5) Limits must be set mutually. Both partners should take responsibility for setting limits. Mutual boundary keeping reflects maturity.

6) Examine your personal motives.
What is your motivation - power and control, gratifying your own ego, meeting a selfish need, or genuine affection?

7) Is there too much physical and too little other? If the social, emotional, spiritual dimensions are missing or lacking, you are out of balance. If you can’t stand the person but have a great physical relationship, rethink the relationship.

Less is better.

If one person is uncomfortable with any type of physical expression, don’t do it. You should respect and honor each other. Don’t push a date to do anything that makes him/her feel uncomfortable.

9) Be guided by love versus lust. Love is the fruit of the Spirit. From love comes self-control. Operate in love, not lust.

10) Allow the Holy Spirit to direct and lead you. If you feel convicted of certain behaviors, stop doing them.

Special Note: If you are a teen, you must honor your parents and respect their counsel (Ephesians 6:2-3). You are subject to parental authority. Don’t be sexually active just because you can get away with it.

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Healing

Its been three (3) weeks now since i have this flu...and its still infecting my whole body and making me feel muscle-weak. Had fever and it ended for 4 days and after two weeks, colds came. It is never good to be sick for weeks. My husband has been worrying. I have been drinking a lot of fruit juices and ginger ale and calamansi juice has become my daily fluid companion. Its not healthy to be sick...this is obvious lol.

But it is not good since i use my voice in the ministry, all for the glory of God. I am praying for complete healing and deliverance from this infection. Mama told me maybe this is an allergic reaction to dust and smoke. Aunt say its "binat" from being sicked and still doing a lot of daily stuffs.

This is my prayer:

Lord, You created everything according to Your desire
My voice to You i surrender
And everything that's taking place within my throat and body i give it all to You
If this sickness came from my unrighteousness, forgive me
If this is to test me, give me enough strength to endure and overcome its pain
If this is the work of the enemy, i casts it out in Jesus' mighty Name (in Jesus Name)
Lord, i just wanna offer You my all
My body and soul are not my own, it came from You
Give me good health and let me give You glory
As long as i shall live
And give me power to shout out Your praise
In Jesus Name i pray, Amen.

On Taking Online Quizzes

Not much to do today. So i decided to open my computer and look for something interesting.

Pop-ups....Bling!

I saw an online quiz. In here, you will choose what type of quiz would you like to take up.

I am just having fun but ofcourse i chose the ones that had to do with my spiritual life.

And these are the result of the quizzes i've took:

1. What is your soul name?

Result: Grace or Benjiman

"you are kind to all things and that's how it is going to be"

2. What is God's gift to you?

Result: A WORSHIPPER

"Your destiny is a worshipper. Worship is a natural instinct and a basic need for every person. A simple definition of worship is to regard with great devotion or to honor as a divine being. Worship happens when we sing to God, whether in church or alone - in our cars or in the shower. Your desire is to please the heart of God, it is worship, no matter where the location or how many are involved. A life of praise and worship fills your deepest needs and amazingly it also brings great joy to God. Ask God it might be you !"

3. Which mighty woman of the Bible are you most like?

Result: You are most like DEBORAH

"You aren't afraid to speak your mind. You know what you want, and go for it. You are motivated, and you revel in personal victories. You are wise in many ways, and you know well, and trust the God you serve. You are courageous, and can look fear in the face. You are a victor."

4. What Bible character are you?

Result: King David

"People like you and follow your leadership. You love deeply even though relationships can cause you great pain. Youre sensitive and just want to get along with everyone."

5. Bible Trivia

Result: Berean

"Person of noble character. You read and examine the scriptures daily."

Note: Im taking this quiz without knowing it's reality.

I believe only God will tell us who we are to Him. Reading and studying His words...is the best thing to know.

Fearing God and knowing His purpose in your life are important for "soul prosperity"

In His grace we have found our identity. It's in Jesus.

Encouragement I Love Today

Here to Eternity

The love of God...His faithfulness...His truth...His strength and power...His might...His promises are FOREVER.

Never a day will we not experience His presence not unless our hearts are open.

We sang a song yesterday entitled, HERE TO ETERNITY....and this song brought revival at Church. Spirit moved non-stop, hearts grown inlove, life-changed.

We have been singing this song since i was in college, the time also that i got born again, and yet it still makes impact...i great one that really lifted up souls.

I love the Lord so much but i know He loves me more than i could ever imagine.

Lyrics:

Your kingdom generation
Declares Your majesty
And our lives are resounding with Your praise
We see Your spirit moving
We burn with holy fire
And Your glory is seen through all the earth
You set eternity in my heart
And i live for You, for You
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Honor and praise forever
We'll shout a victory cry
From here to eternity
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
We'll take our place in history
We'll shout Your awesome love
From here to eternity

It's really amazing to see people in worship and in total surrender to the Lord. God is magnified, glorified and adored above all.

Praise the Lord oh my soul.

Shampoo

Not advertising this but i just would like to share my appreciation of palmolive shampoos.

What i like about it is that:

1. It doesn't irritate my scalp
2. It has a smell that is not too hard on nose
3. Its keeping my hair smooth all day and even up to 2 days
4. Its PINK

So what it has to do with my life?

Well, when i start the day being clean not just spiritually speaking but also personally and physically, the whole day attitude follows. Its being fresh all day long. Being irritable will just make you less a Christian. Being clean shows a glow in you. And we praise the Lord for the GLOW and it is showing how glorious He is for giving us a stress-free day.

Thanks be to God, the lover of our soul.

God's Own

Forever thankful that i am always reminded of my worth to the Lord: I am His Child...the daughter of the Most High.

How can i complain if the one who owns me showed a lot of greatness, goodness and faithfulness.

The Bible says, "he is the same yesterday, today and forever." He never stops loving. He remained strong and remained the source of our strength.

I am a child. I have needs. I need guidance and protection. He is my Father. I need Him.

I declare today and always that no forms of darkness, famines, no weapons against me shall prosper and shall separate me from the love of my Father God.

I am a child of God. I am a princess.

Prayer, Planning and Participation

This really helps. Praise the Lord.

It’s the job of the worship leader to help with the flow of the service.  This happens through prayer, planning and participation.
Prayer allows us to be in tune with the Spirit so that we are able to – in a relaxed and confident way – lead people into an experience with God.
Planning allows us to know the worship order so we are able to follow in each  component to the worship service.
Participation allows us to be in the moment - participation in prayer, planning and in the worship service itself give us the needed tools to adequately help conclude the worship service.
Most of this happens naturally when a person is involved in the same church each weekend.  But I was thinking today about the traveling worship leader, the camp worship leader or when we are called upon for a special event.  Here are some of thoughts from my experience:
1)  Know what is next – In most of these special event settings, there may not be a clear cut order.  It’s the job of the worship leader to know what is coming next.  It will determine what songs you choose.  One example of this is the conclusion of the service – is there a time that it needs finish?  Do you know who is coming up to pray? Do you know their name?  Do you know what is next on the schedule so that you can send the crowd to the right place?  Is the closing song a song of response or celebration?
2)  Concrete components the guest worship leader must uncover - If the event is larger, there has probably been some planning go into the worship gatherings.  If the event is a camp – especially if there are going to be multiple services in the morning and evening over the course of the week – there probably isn’t as much detail available.  It’s up to the worship leader to help add flow to those times.  Do your work as the camp or event is happening:  Who will be sharing announcements?  Who can you invite to lead in prayer?  What time will we need to have music playing as people gather for worship?  Who will introduce the speaker?  Who will read Scripture?  Is there a way we can incorporate gifts of others into the worship service?  When (if there is one) will the offering be received?  What is it going towards?  How long is the worship service scheduled?  How long is the preacher’s message?  How will music and worship be arranged to help aid in the overall aspect of this particular part of the camp or event?
3)  Humbly take the lead – After asking these questions and having a handle on the best way for the worship service to flow, humbly and confidently take the lead.  You’re not the entertainer, the emcee or the special guest – you are God’s instrument, on behalf of the people, to help lead in worship.  Welcome the congregation, lead in worship music and if fitting or needed, invite people forward as they have a role in worship (scripture, testimony, offering, etc).  Pray for the speaker before they come up and then close the worship or response time – without lots of commentary – so that people can respond to God’s call on their lives.

Joy in the Philippines

We always say that it's more fantastic in the Philippines. I believe every filipinos abroad will agree to that.

The Philippines is a Christian country. Happy faces is the usual comments of foreigners who visited my country.

According to my husband, the thing that he loved most about the Philippines is the signage posted everywhere that is sharing the Word and love of God. From the front door of the house, to the cars moving around, to the stores, the streets, the shirts, mugs and personal things and the big billboards. Its is not only at church that the Lord is magnified and glorified. It is out in the public's (believers and unbelievers) eyes. And so transformation/changes happens to life.

Words like "God is Good", "Jesus Cares", "Go Straight to God", "U-Turn to God", "Worship God", "Pray Until Something Happens (P.U.S.H)" "Got Faith?" (which reminds us always that whenever we have problems, faith in God helps a lot), "God is Good" and so many Bible verses printed and posted all around touches and encourages people. Awesome.

Just this month (May 22), Nick Vujicic visited us. I haven't got the chance to meet him, i just found out that he is here today (May 26) when i watched a television program they entitled "Unstoppable Nick Vujicic" on ABC TV5. Awesome experience to know about him.

There is nothing really impossible with God. Faith happens. Change happens. God is NOT UNSTOPPABLE when it comes to showering us blessings and joys. He is NOT UNSTOPPABLE in using people, even with disabilities, to be able to reveal His power and strength.

In a fantastic place like the Philippines, we are UNSTOPPABLE in our faith because God us UNSHAKEN in His promises and goodness.

I praise the Lord for everything.

And maybe someday, God willing, i will be able to see Nick Vujicic in person to hug him and worship the Lord for his God-given life.

To God be the glory!!!!

Here are links of photos from Nick's visit in the Philippines:

On Material Things

Hypocrisy aside, i am also desiring to own a gadget like ipad, iphone, samsung s3, laptop, netbook, tab, etc.

I don't envy people who already have it because they can afford to buy and change from gadgets to gadgets as fast as they could and as new releases come into the cyber world of gadgets.

My desire started just last week. We were listening to songs attached to a brethren's samsung tab...there's actually 3 headsets attached to her tab and so 6 of us were able to listen and hummm to the song.

I don't have an ipad or ipod ( i don't know which is the correct one to mention wherein i could save songs) but i have this Samsung Corby i got from a postpaid plan in 2010. Whoa time fast ad here comes other phones that is song capable and which has bigger memory on it.

As i am writing this, i am listening to Christian songs on youtube one of which is Darlene Zscech's In Jesus Name song. And at the same time, thought of the samsung tab mom and i saw at the mall. I actually googled it and checked on the specs when we arrived home. It the samsung galaxy tab 7.0 wifi. I thought its cool. And its cheaper than all the gadgets they've release this year. I i also thought it may be user-friendly too.

I would like to have this tab for improvements in the ministry too but still praying for the Lord to improve my voice and use it all for His glory. I would like to save songs, sermons, and other stuff that will be profitable for my soul.

Some might say, "why not ask for iphone or samsung s4?'' hmmm...i don't want to have things that is attractive to the eyes. I need one for my ministry. And preferably white colored one...just being specific.

Nothing is impossible :)

Lord, help me. Without Your provision this will not be possible.

I will wait and not lose heart. your supply is sufficient i will just have to wait with a SMILE.

Mother's Day Celebration

It's fun celebrating the day of our Mama, Mommy, Mothers and Nanay.

Every year we never fail to give appreciation to our moms who have been very supportive and patient all throughout the year. I am personally thankful for their courage and for living the Proverbs 31.

The Everpraisers Music Team came into an idea of dancing to the tune of "Just the Way You Are" wearing the photos of our mothers as mascara while holding some of the verses from Proverbs 31.

All -in fun and happiness. To God be the glory :)

SUMMER TIME

Summer time.

Nieces are in our ancestral house to spend summer with the oldies.

For us, summer means going to the beach, playing with the jelly fish, discovering some things in the water, getting a cheap but nice place where we could just hang around and swim as a family.

Here's some photos i would like to share :)

Our 5th Year

April 21st marks our fifth year renting at the 3rd floor of a building. So this means our leased contract will end.

On our DawnWatch prayer early this morning, we are so into praying for favor so we could stay in this building since we haven't found a place yet where we could transfer.

Praying for the owner to give us privilege to stay in their property.

BUT also praying that the Lord gives us a new place, a place that the Church will call its own GIVING THE LORD ALL THE GLORY.

I am earnestly praying that the Lord use me on this too. Yay if only we are all rich financially then there will be no problem, but we are normal people with a Big God that do the impossible, so we keep on praying and not losing heart. We pray for our own Church Building in Olongapo City.

I have been in this Church since 2001 and since then, this is our prayer. We are renting a small place then where 50-70 brethren could gather. We only have 20 chairs then and the rest we are also renting. And when we transfer at Ritz Realty Building 5 years ago, we are so thankful because a new friend from the United States of America sponsored 60 chairs. That really is an awesome move of God's hands. We are grateful and thankful for the Lord's faithfulness. In this place, there are more than 100 brethren that gathers on Sundays for our Church Service and Thursdays for our General Bible Studies. And our goal for more souls to be saved are greater and richer in number now. Our goal from 100 souls went high to 300-400. All must come to repentance and accept the Lord Jesus are Lord and Savior...especially that the time is coming near.

And we are praying for a much bigger place for a much bigger goal...ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.

Help us in praying. And if my readers can also help and be used by God, let it be and let God be God in this journey.

Thank you so much. And happy to be celebrating our 5th year anniversary in this place, we're gonna have an evangelism. Thankful to God for everything :)

I Surrender All

a song i love listening to when i was younger. And it was only like 3 weeks ago when i heard it again in the bed of my aunt who is suffering from cancer.

We have given life to live but some people took the gift for grated but instead spoiled the body of whatever it likes to eat and drink and what it loves to do. In other words, the temple became a trash can of waste materials instead of a place where the spirit of God rests.

And after a while, when sickness comes, we realized the fact that our body should be presented as pure and acceptable to God.

Aunt Letty died 2 weeks ago at the age of 49. I am happy that she is now in a better place. She accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and was able to serve the Lord the best she can while she is still alive.

Let us surrender everything to the Lord...even the tiny ones...they are all important.

Lyrics:

 All to Jesus I surrender;
 all to him I freely give;
 I will ever love and trust him,
 in his presence daily live.
Refrain:
 I surrender all, I surrender all,
 all to thee, my blessed Savior,
 I surrender all.

2. All to Jesus I surrender;
 humbly at his feet I bow,
 worldly pleasures all forsaken;
 take me, Jesus, take me now.
 (Refrain)

3. All to Jesus I surrender;
 make me, Savior, wholly thine;
 fill me with thy love and power;
 truly know that thou art mine.
 (Refrain)

4. All to Jesus I surrender;
 Lord, I give myself to thee;
 fill me with thy love and power;
 let thy blessing fall on me.
 (Refrain)

5. All to Jesus I surrender;
 now I feel the sacred flame.
 O the joy of full salvation!
 Glory, glory, to his name!
 (Refrain)
