TGBTG

Being a Worship Leader and a Bible Cell Teacher, i received appreciation for a well done service or singing. This made me so blessed believing that as others appreciate me, the glory will always belong to the One who sent me.

It's giving the glory back to whom it truly belongs.

TGBTG means To God Be The Glory.

Always good to remember that without the Lord we are nothing. Every appreciation, every words of joy, every love that's felt goes out to the Holy One....to the Lord.

All that i am now will never be possible without the grace of God and His loving kindness.

God has been so patient with my attitude...my way of living...me.

Apart from God, i can do nothing.

Who am i, a weak vessel, with so many insecurities, a sinner.

But then the Lord use me for His glory.

To God Be the Glory forever and ever. Amen.

Try It

A Child with a Grown Up Attitude

Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves:
be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

As God's sons and daughters, as a believer of Jesus, we are not exempted from experiencing harm or troubles of life. We are surrounded by great trials and the deceiver's joy is to pull us out of our comfort zone under the shadow of the Most High. Wolves are everywhere. There are deceptions everyday.

WOLVES, according to wikipedia are not dangerous to humans as long as they are on low numbers. But the text says, we are in the middle of wolves. In my entire life, i haven't seen real wolves even on zoos. But spiritually speaking, as the Bible says, they are there.

Wolves are evil things. They maybe are false prophets, wolves who scatters and devours God's flock.

Mark them. Know them. Be very careful in talking to them

Be wise. Ask the Lord for spiritual discernment so our senses will know who are they who tried to devour us. Wisdom doesn't always come with age. Let's us be mature enough to use our faith and strength to overcome those darkness. As we put our trust in God, His lights will guide us and direct us and follow us wherever we will go. Wise servants always ask. Do not assume we know everything. The Bible says, "if we lack wisdom,  we ask".

Be harmless. Have a child-like attitude when wolves come. Be innocent of who it is. Ignore it. Let it not get what he wants from you. Play with it instead of going with it. And then again ask wisdom. A child who never stop asking until he/she gets the question or until he/she understood will be molded well in the journey.

Let's have that child with a grown up attitude in facing the wolves. Crush the wolves under our feet and don;t let it try to control us.
Be controlled by the power of the Holy Spirit. Set your mind on things above not on those things that surrounding you.

Praise the Lord!

Add me Up on FB

LUKE 2:49
And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me?
wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?

Oh i just need to blog about what God impressed in me through a co-servant in Christ and a friend on blogger and life. (thank you Emily)

I did quit FB (facebook) a week ago. There are many things there that stresses me and pressures me. Facebook is very open that even the darkest secret and the unloved and unexpected behavior is seen. As a Christian, i of course expect differences in a sense that believers don't conform to the work of the world as what the Bible says. Being born again is being a change person...there's new life in Christ. But on Facebook, people compromise a lot. People tried to get someone else attention there. People can hide their true self. One got as much as four accounts for reasons beyond explanation.

And i am guilty of giving more time on updating my account instead of reading the Bible. This hurts me a lot. This isn't me.
On facebook, i seek myself...i show and promote myself. I tend others to love me and appreciate me by liking all my post and photos. I suddenly hate the not-so-good comments from others...while in reality i love REBUKES. I don't like people hurting people through words on facebook. I don't like the looks like immature attitude of others there. Oh well...in other word...being there doesn't have a good effect on me.

I read a devotion (im sorry i forgot the author), it says there Theology is the study of of the nature of God. We will be able to know it by studying the Word of God. It's there...crystal clear. But people doesn't know or people forget because they studied Me-ology which is the study of one self. The center is you, you, you or me,me,me. "What im going to write today?" "I need to update my status." "I need to check my notification." "Need to upload new photos"...".i have to..i have to...i need to be updated."

So there's a sort of an obligation or responsibility for you to do there. But at the end of the day, you lack something. At the end of the day, you'll be weary of doing it. At the end of the day, you'll realized your eyes grows dim. If you have 20/20 vision before, now you need to wear an eyeglasses.

At the end of the day, you'll realized how much time you spend infront of the computer just looking at your facebook and the profile and updates of your friends there. At the end of the day, you and your sister or mom will talk about the things you've seen on facebook...the life and ways of other people. The result, it's either you are blessed or you will compare yourself with others, you will be proud of yourself, you pity them or you pity yourself.

The Bible Verse above lead us back to where we should be. To where we should spend our time and energy the most. To know what to prioritize: the temporary or eternity?

Luke 21:33
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but My words shall not pass away.

Facebook will pass but God's Word won't. Your Me-ology will pass but God's Word won't.

We must be about our brand new FB which is our Father's Business.

I texted my friends today telling them this: "You asked me why i quit FB...my answer is i have started a brand new FB account, can you be my friend there? Oh, by the way FB means my Father's Business. Now add me up, friends."

I am so blessed beyond description. God is changing me. He is molding me to be a better servant

Thank You Lord Jesus for Your love, grace, mercy and for Your salvation.

Scrabbles and Shyness

Does anyone of you played SCRABBLE?

Scrabble is a word game in which two to four players score points by forming words from individual lettered tiles on a game board marked with a 15-by-15 grid. The words are formed across and down in crossword fashion and must appear in a standard dictionary. (excerpt from Wikipedia)

I am always concerned whether my husband is answering God's calling or not. I always believe that he is called to preach and share the Gospel/Good News. When he got job opportunity, the first thing that i reminded him is to know whether the people surrounding him in a job knew about the Lord or not yet. I always encourage him to share the Word of God and to overcome his shyness. Sharing God's Word by any means..by all means.

Tonight, my husband told me, two new friends/co-worker and him will be playing scrabble. Oh SCRABBLE...then i reminded him again to share the Gospel through words that he will be forming.

Very simple. But that's just the start. We can minister to people in simple ways we could never imagine that would touch their hearts. But it is not us, but the Holy Spirit showing and directing us on what to do and convicting the souls.

I was shy...shyness makes it hard for us to be convicted. Shyness is like pride. Shyness needs humility to be able to overcome it. Shyness suppresses the works of the Holy Spirit.

Shyness and Scrabble...i encourage you brethren to use words in your ministry. There's no such thing as "Sitting Ministry" at church. Church binds and unites people. Church understands differences. Church encourage and change. But a Church without Christ won't do anything to a person. God's words are powerful and true. We must not be ashamed in sharing it because there's life in it.

Out Of Context

Study to show thyself approved!

I have a friend who just texted me a verse from the Bible. My concern is how she used it. I just believe that it's out of context.

Of this, i am also guilty one way or another.  I am guilty of not knowing the truth or on how to divide it and use it God's Word properly.

I can only pray for wisdom in everything.

Lord, have mercy on me. I need to seek, know, read, memorize by heart, study seriously, give time to Your words.

I wanna be worthy of Your calling. I want to know You more.

We Love Texting

Yes, you read that right...WE LOVE TEXTING. More so after we got married.

Even if we're together, i love sending my husband "i love you's". This made our day.

Because i am a filipina and i speak tagalog, there are times that i text my husband in my own language. Little by little he is used to it and he is using it already.

I love sending my husband, just like what i usually do to friends, a morning Bible Verse. And then we will discuss about it. This is really inspiring. It's like every time we wake, it's sharing time.

God uses my husband for me to have Bible Verse Texting a daily habit not just sending one to him but to all added on my phone contacts. This is encouraging.

As a couple, we are learning. And as a couple, one in God's eyes, we are one in sharing the Daily Dose of God's Words to others. I believe this will be our ministry. We love texting...inspired by the Word of God and by our love which is also comes from God.

Worshiper's Feet

Aside from being a Worship Leader, it's only by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that i was able to preach the the Gospel.

I am always shy. I don't like noise and long conversation. For me life should be answered by YES or NO. But then when i accepted the Lord, He changed me. I realized that things needs an explanation as long as you can answer it in truth and in humility.

God called me to a ministry, that just started last year (2010). I became a Bible Cell Teacher. Attendees ranges from 12 to 17 persons every week. I thought it would be easy. But i've learned and realized that preaching the Gospel isn't that easy...for it comes with a responsibility. Pastor say, whatever i say and do will affect the listeners. Their eyes are on me. They will either go bad or go stronger in the faith.

And the Lord's eyes are set on me. Not just on what i say, what i teach, what i do but the intent of my heart.

I don't teach the Gospel just to get another ministry at church...i believe it is a calling from God. He called me...i heard it in my heart.

I have a HAPPY FEET. I don't like it before, i don't like my nails, it looks awkward, it looks dirty. I don't used to pedicures or anything..i just wash it but the dust outside made it look dirty and ugly.

I began appreciating my feet. This is what i use for me to walk straight to where God leads me. The Bible Study cell are waiting. Even i...i am waiting for a new revelation and convictions from the Lord.

I LOVE MY FEET. I dont use it for me, God made me wear it for His glory...for His purpose...for His honor.

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Come, Let us Worship Together!!!
Ecclesiastes 4:12
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Two are better than one. But in love, we found ONE better than the two of us...the Lord Jesus.

My husband, is God's gift of love. I know i am also God's gift to him.

Gifts are somethings valuable...important. Something more than we asked for. Something that is freely given...joyfully shared.

Here's a poem that touched my heart long before i've met my husband:

GOD'S GIFT One day when God felt generous, He looked down at me and smiled, "Since I feel so magnanimous, I'd like to give you something, child." He asked me what I wanted, I said, "Oh, really nothing more, You've done so much already." He said, "That's what God is for." "You have been pretty good," He said, I know there's not much that you seek, I will pick a little something, Just to make your life complete." With great anticipation, I looked forward to my gift, I wondered what God had in mind, That would give me such a lift. "This gift," God said, "You realize, Bears some responsibility, So, if you accept my present, You must be willing to agree... "To offer unconditionally, A section or a part, Of more than half of you, The larger portion of your heart." "Okay, God," I answered, "Since in You, I always trust, I'll meet your obligation, In the manner that I must." To myself, I thought, wow, what a gift, For so much of me, God's asked, Now what could be so valuable, That my share was more than half? With both hands I sought my gift, I still did not have a clue, Then God put your hand in mine, And said His gift to me was YOU! by Virginia A. Ellis copyright © 1999

Worship at His Footstool

I am a Worship Leader and i am in awe of my Leader's leadership.

I am a worshiper not a performer. I am God's own. I am a servant. There is nothing i can do without God's grace and His Divine favor.

Worship at His Footstool is a one of my way in promoting my Master Musician, the Lord Jesus Christ, who makes melody in my heart. Everything He have done and everything that He will do are music to my soul...our soul.

So what's a FOOTSTOOL? (Even the definition makes me wanna sing-out-loud praise to my Saviour)

Link  And as heaven is God's throne, so the earth is his footstool (Ps. 110:1; Isa. 66:1; Matt. 5:35)

Link   foot'-stool (kebhes; hupopodion, "trodden on"): The 15 Scripture references to this term may be classified as literal or figurative. Of the former are the two passages: 2 Ch 9:18 and Jas 2:3. In these the footstool was a sort of step or support for the feet placed before the throne or any pretentious seat.
Of figurative uses, there are the following groups: (1) Of the earth: Isa 66:1; Mt 5:35; Acts 7:49. (2) Of the ark: 1 Ch 28:2. (3) Of the Temple: Ps 99:5; 132:7; Lam 2:1; compare Isa 60:13. (4) Of heathen enemies subdued by the Messianic King: Ps 110:1; Mt 22:44 the King James Version; Mk 12:36; Lk 20:43; Acts 2:35; Heb 1:13; 10:13. Thus the uses of this term are mainly metaphorical and symbolic of subjection, either to God as universal Lord or to God's Son as King by redemptive right. Compare 1 Cor 15:25-27, in which all things, including death, are represented as subject to Christ and placed beneath His feet. - Leonard W. Doolan

Link  FOOT'STOOL, n. A stool for the feet; that which supports the feet of one when sitting.
To make enemies a footstool, is to reduce them to entire subjection. Ps. 110

More to learn about FOOTSTOOL...i am a worshiper. I am subject (in total surrender) to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Happy Reading. Jesus loves you.

Homeless guy with golden voice makes CNN News

Just another YouTube sensation that encourages not only the common people but all those who watches it.

I am amazed of his voice too. It's very natural. No need for a voice modulator or editor to make it sound great...just a heart that sounds clean.

Sharing with you guys just in case you haven't watched him yet.

God bless us all.

The Value of Wisdom

Proverbs 2

 1 My son, if you receive my words,And treasure my commands within you,
       2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;
       3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding,
       4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;
       5 Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God.
       6 For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
       7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
       8 He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.
       9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path.
       10 When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
       11 Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,
       12 To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,
       13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness, To walk in the ways of darkness;
       14 Who rejoice in doing evil, And delight in the perversity of the wicked;
       15 Whose ways are crooked, And who are devious in their paths;
       16 To deliver you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters with her words,
       17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth, And forgets the covenant of her God.
       18 For her house leads down to death, And her paths to the dead;
       19 None who go to her return, Nor do they regain the paths of life—
       20 So you may walk in the way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness.
       21 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it;
       22 But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.

Lord, grant me wisdom in all my ways and more of Your ways for me. May this life You've given me serve as delight to You and give You greater glory.

And Lord, You know what i lack in life, i pray as this year starts, direct my path and guide my every steps according to Your will Lord.

Thank You Lord Jesus for every breath i breathe. Thank You for the precious life.

And Lord, if rapture will take place today, RAPTURE ME AND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND YOUR CHOSEN PEOPLE.

I love You Lord. The glory, honor, power belongs to You alone.

Thought to Ponder

Are we really that busy?

Are we really that impatient?

Are we really tired?

There are 365 days in a year. 52 days there is. If we spend like 2 hours at church then we spend 104hours in praising, Bible Reading, listening to the preaching and fellowships. We have 24hours in a day...104hrs divided by 24hrs then we spend like 4days in our church. Why some people complain on the time they've spent at church? Why do some people viewed 2hrs as LONG HOURS????
