A Child with a Grown Up Attitude

Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves:
be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

As God's sons and daughters, as a believer of Jesus, we are not exempted from experiencing harm or troubles of life. We are surrounded by great trials and the deceiver's joy is to pull us out of our comfort zone under the shadow of the Most High. Wolves are everywhere. There are deceptions everyday.

WOLVES, according to wikipedia are not dangerous to humans as long as they are on low numbers. But the text says, we are in the middle of wolves. In my entire life, i haven't seen real wolves even on zoos. But spiritually speaking, as the Bible says, they are there.

Wolves are evil things. They maybe are false prophets, wolves who scatters and devours God's flock.

Mark them. Know them. Be very careful in talking to them

Be wise. Ask the Lord for spiritual discernment so our senses will know who are they who tried to devour us. Wisdom doesn't always come with age. Let's us be mature enough to use our faith and strength to overcome those darkness. As we put our trust in God, His lights will guide us and direct us and follow us wherever we will go. Wise servants always ask. Do not assume we know everything. The Bible says, "if we lack wisdom,  we ask".

Be harmless. Have a child-like attitude when wolves come. Be innocent of who it is. Ignore it. Let it not get what he wants from you. Play with it instead of going with it. And then again ask wisdom. A child who never stop asking until he/she gets the question or until he/she understood will be molded well in the journey.

Let's have that child with a grown up attitude in facing the wolves. Crush the wolves under our feet and don;t let it try to control us.
Be controlled by the power of the Holy Spirit. Set your mind on things above not on those things that surrounding you.

Praise the Lord!
