Scrabbles and Shyness

Does anyone of you played SCRABBLE?

Scrabble is a word game in which two to four players score points by forming words from individual lettered tiles on a game board marked with a 15-by-15 grid. The words are formed across and down in crossword fashion and must appear in a standard dictionary. (excerpt from Wikipedia)

I am always concerned whether my husband is answering God's calling or not. I always believe that he is called to preach and share the Gospel/Good News. When he got job opportunity, the first thing that i reminded him is to know whether the people surrounding him in a job knew about the Lord or not yet. I always encourage him to share the Word of God and to overcome his shyness. Sharing God's Word by any means..by all means.

Tonight, my husband told me, two new friends/co-worker and him will be playing scrabble. Oh SCRABBLE...then i reminded him again to share the Gospel through words that he will be forming.

Very simple. But that's just the start. We can minister to people in simple ways we could never imagine that would touch their hearts. But it is not us, but the Holy Spirit showing and directing us on what to do and convicting the souls.

I was shy...shyness makes it hard for us to be convicted. Shyness is like pride. Shyness needs humility to be able to overcome it. Shyness suppresses the works of the Holy Spirit.

Shyness and Scrabble...i encourage you brethren to use words in your ministry. There's no such thing as "Sitting Ministry" at church. Church binds and unites people. Church understands differences. Church encourage and change. But a Church without Christ won't do anything to a person. God's words are powerful and true. We must not be ashamed in sharing it because there's life in it.
