Hehe...because your special...

Ok, i am trying to make my own design for featured blogs...this come up because i am just so inspired today and because i believe i have been fed with meat through your blogs...

The photo was taken from the top of the building overseeing the forest trees.

This is just one of the most amazing things i've experienced in my Christian life. Overseeing LIFE.

Humbly i a presenting this one for you for uplifting my soul ( i understand i have one hehe) and for making me smile the more as i come to learn that i have been loved and is always love by God.

God is our first love.

Thank you once again.

Love you ~hon~

God's Ministers

How many ministers of God do you know? There's the minister of your congregation and maybe it has an assistant minister, a youth minister, or a minister of music. Some churches have visitation ministers, ministers of senior citizens, and various other specialist.

How about the policeman on the beat? Did you know he is God's minister too? SO is your representative in the state legislature, your congressman, your president, the judge in his courtroom, and your king or queen if your country has king or queen. Some of these people may now know they are God's ministers, but they are. God has decreed that we have government to keep people from robbing and killing each other., and the officials of government serve Him when they do that. Of course some officials don't always do what God wants them to do, but who does? Not even me...you...us!

While i am listing God ministers, i have put my own name on the list.

The word minister means a servant. Milk-drinking Christians are servants also. You are God's servant too, aren't you? Meat-eating Christians are ministers of God.

I can only pray that as servants, may God help us to do our work/ministry well.

One who loves us

A truly great blessing in this life to find a mate or friend with whom you have intimate rapport. One whom you can trust completely. One who knows your faults and loves you anyway. One who supports you and encourages you to reach the potential others do not see.

Earthly friends and companions are precious to us, but none can compare with our Lord. He is the One who knows all of our sins and loves us just as He did the Samaritan woman (learned after reading the story). He knows what we can become if we surrender ourselves to Him. But we must say, as did the Samaritan woman, "Give me this water that i may not thirst!"

Praise and thanks be to God for loving me in spite of all the sins and transgressions i have committed.

FLASHBACK

~ a glimpse
~ looking back
~ thoughts about the past

Ok so what are these for?

Well, i am just reminiscing the things happened in the past. SOme made me smile and giggle and some creates a tiny goosebumps in me and sorta made me remember all the pains the goes out with past experiences.

Whatever things - good or bad - that happened in the past, i would like to see the positive sides of it.

On the BAD SIDES: Being me in the flesh drinking milk, enjoying wordly things, holding pride, carrying anger, being useless and being selfish ~ a sinner.

On the GOOD SIDES: ~ a changed person. (see how i didn't wrote anymore words other than being changed because i weren't able to find any good things in me in the past)

Looking back...i didn't see my future as it's not my priority before.

Looking upfront...it's a clear vision of life with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Flashback made me realized my mistakes and flashbacks made me even more willing to know and to do the will of the Lord.

A glimpse of the bad sides creates joy in me. Without the mistakes or the sins, then the Lord will not show Himself to me.

I am one happy soul.

I am a changed soul. The Lord's faithfulness is shown as i glimpse on who i am in the past and who i will be in God's eyes today and tomorrow.

To My Co-Heiress

Oh wow, i am an heiress!!!

Thanks ~hon~ for this one. I am so blessed girl.

I've looked around me and saw that there are many things to own. Buildings, boats, parks, that beautiful shoes a young lady wears, nice clothes, awesome bags, etc.

And oh, i am saddened by the thought of wanting them. This is selfishness.

But i would like to be an heiress of peace, hope, faith, grace, love....all things that only the Father in Heaven could give.

I would love to be an heiress of God's promises.

An heiress of one of my Father's many mansions.

Thanks be to God!!!

More MEAT please

As a milk desiring for meat, i have been a victim of doubts and confusions as i keep my door closed for changes.

And because God is mightier than my doubts, i suddenly felt a fusion of burst inside of me.

I thought i was strong, even on my own, and that i don't need anyone else...but i was wrong.

I have come to realized that i need someone. Someone who will help me overcome or conquer those things that made me less of me.

Friends mentioned the Name Jesus.

Ofcourse, i've known Him since my childhood. I used to clean him through the cloth grandma gave me. And then we kissed his feet. I wonder why the doll needs to be scarry as colored blood run through his body and being hanged on that wooden thing. I wonder why the designer of that heavy doll put torns on his head and why do they put cloth to hide the doll's lower body. And there comes a time that people said the doll is moving. And the mommy doll is talking.

That's years ago ofcourse.

And then i DESIRED FOR MEAT....i longed for truth on my existence.

A friend gave a present to me...a book...Purpose Driven Life. I look at it and said, "so i need to know my purpose eh?" And i haven't read it yet because i would like to know my purpose on earth as i see the changes in me day after day. I talk to that friend of mine and tell her that i am just starting to know God so i rather read His Words...the BIBLE. One of the Bible passage that i love is that "our Lord is not the author of confusion". So i will focus on His words and then i will read books or some other devotionals in the future.

I have this King James Version of the Bible that i am reading. Also a gift to me. I have learned that there are different kinds of Bible. What amazes me is that there's a Bible made available for kids, for teens, for men, for women, etc. And there are different translation too. Whew, i wonder what fits me the most. And so i search the net and search my heart. I have learned that King James Version 1611 is the authorized version of the Bible. Wow, i am glad that's what i have now.

And another thing came up...should i start reading from Genesis? HISTORY???? no complains...God is able to make me understand it. And oh do i need Bible Encyclopedia to be able to know and understand it better? Yes yes yes. But i dont have any. Quite expensive as i've checked it from the bookstore. Ok then i decided to pray and open the Bible and start reading.

The JOURNEY starts from here.

More MEAT please!!!

Im Back to Share Something

The blog thing won't let me sleep today...lol...well, not after im done posting this one.

In my times of doubts and confusion or changing moods, my boyfriend always remind me that God is higher or greater than those things. I totally agree not because the man i love told me so but because the love of God shows it so.

I have learned from previous week's Church service that i am not alone. Not alone in drinking milk..lol..and not alone in eating meat (humbled)

Two things lifted up in one our church open discussions and that too remained in my mind:

- Christians, are we in crisis?

- Christians, are we in Christ?

In reality, we are in Christ but we're still suffering from this world's changes be it economically...well mostly financial difficulties...that affects us emotionally and spiritually.

In this world we will suffer...think about tribulations...add persecutions...spice up with tears and confusions...hmmmm.

And think about God's goodness...faithfulness...love...mercy...

Think about this blessed hope.

We are saved by grace...are suffering are lessen by God's grace.

Christian life is not that simple at all...Christian life talks about salvation and hope. It doesn't tell us not to experience something bad but if we won't then that means we don't need Christ.

And now more than anything...i need Jesus in my life. As a deer pantheth for the water so my soul longeth to Thee.

I desire for meat in my Christian life.

This i believe would make me a better person...a daughter of the Most High God.

Something to Smile/Laugh About

WHY GOD MADE MOMS

Answers given by 2nd grade school children to the following questions:

Why did God make mothers?

1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.

2. Mostly to clean the house.

3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.

How did God make mothers?

1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.

2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.

3. God made my mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.

What ingredients are mothers made of?

1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.

2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.

Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?

1. We're related.

2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's mom like me.

1. My mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.

2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.

3. They say she used to be nice.

What did mom need to know about dad before she married him?

1. His last name.

2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer?

3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores?

Why did your mom marry your dad?

1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my mom eats a lot

2. She got too old to do anything else with him.

3. My grandma says that mom didn't have her thinking cap on.

Who's the boss at your house?

1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.

2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.

3. I guess mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.

What's the difference between moms and dads?

1. Moms work at work and work at home and dads just go to work at work.

2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.

3. Dads are taller and stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friends.

4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.

What does your mom do in her spare time?

1. Mothers don't do spare time.

2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What would it take to make your mom perfect?

1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.

2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.

If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?

1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.

2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it not me.

3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.

Higher than the Heavens

A youth in the Church sing beautifully the song "One Thing".

As much as i like her voice, i truly love the lyrics of the song where it says "God's Name is higher than the heavens."

I like it when a song specifically glorifies the Father more than the one who sings it even how wonderful it has been sang and delivered. What's important is the deeper things in that song and what it tried to tells us.

Lord Your Name is higher than the heavens
Lord Your Name is higher than all created things
Higher than hope
Higher than dreams
The name of the Lord
