Time for Make-Over

pampering myself...hehe

So it was April 16 when i made the kindest pampering for myself...and i am very thankful that a day like this came.

Whoa, my hair, though long, was dry, full of tangles and was not shiny. But i love it regardless.

And then here comes the pampering...not free though.

People called this a MAKE-OVER.

Whew...so makeover does great deals physically. People look at it and praise your hair...uhm..not you.

When i thought about it, i realized "what" kind of MAKE-OVER does a person really needs. Though we need to be approachable with our looks, or we need to be love by our physical appearance, MAKE-OVER within made a person appreciated.

Psalms 90:17
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us:
and establish thou the work of our hands upon us;
yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

The beauty of the Lord seen upon us...that's the glory of God shining on our faces not because we smile a lot but because God's love is there. It's a make-over that represents who we are in Jesus. We are God's children and God is precious and beautiful so as God's own, we must be beautiful inside and out...ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. What we need is a Spiritual Make-Over!!!

Here's one story i've read:
Charles William Eliot, former president of Harvard University, had a birthmark on his face that bothered him greatly. As a young man, he was told that surgeons could do nothing to remove it. Someone described that moment as “the dark hour of his soul.” Eliot’s mother gave him this helpful advice: “My son, it is not possible for you to get rid of that hardship…But it is possible for you, with God’s help, to grow a mind and soul so big that people will forget to look at your face.”
Glow and grow and make Jesus shine on you.

Shining for the Lord,
