Devotion Everyday

It is a privilege. It is important for spiritual and personal growth. It's making us wise and strengthen our conviction. It also reminds us something that we may be forgotten in our journey.

As shared by my young friend, Almira, this is her devotion for today that the Lord gave her.

Psalm 12 (King James Version)

1Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
4Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
5For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
6The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

We may not always like what we read, or we don't always understand it. But reading it again and again with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, it will be crystal clear to us.

On the message this young fellow sent me, she said she just opened her Bible and she saw this. It inspired her. Devotions are inspiration.

And as His Word is truly our sWORD as we battle in the spiritual realm, we know that It is very sharp and able to penetrate even the bones and the marrows. How awesome that His Word stands true forever. God bless.
