I Am A Sinner

...BUT blood-bought-and redeemed :)

In my generation, i have learned that sins will always hurt a person. be it the sin that you don't like to do and the sin that you just do for some reason e.g.white lies. Pastor told us every now and then that "white lies" no matter how white it is, or no matter your intention is still a lie.

It's like a sin even on our mind, when we think bad things about others, it will always be sin.

SIN as defined by Susannah Wesley, "Whatever weakens your reason, impairs the tenderness of your conscience, obscures your sense of God, or takes off the relish of spiritual things; whatever increases the authority of your body over your mind, that thing, to you, is sin."

The Word of the Lord written talks about sin also:

Leviticus 5:17
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

Leviticus 6:2
If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

Numbers 21:7
Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

Job 1:5
And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

So many things we do that made us call sinners. SIN separates us from God.

But God is faithful. Two thousand years ago, there are the Cross, He bear our sins and iniquities by giving and sacrificing His own life - clean life- for us to be saved. He thinks about us on His way to that Calvary. He endured everything...for His love is real.

Love covered our sins. Love healeth us. Love changes us. That kind of love no one can do but Jesus.

Proverbs 10:12
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

Luke 5:20
And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Luke 7:47
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
