Church 11th Year Anniversary

Thanks be to God for another year of celebrating His goodness, greatness, faithfulness.

The church has improved a lot. The servants of God did a great job all for the glory of God.

One word to describe it? AWESOME!!!

It's really amazing how the Lord planted a church here in Olongapo City, Philippines and how it grows and still growing.

We are very thankful and very blessed that Jesus Christ To God be the Glory - Olongapo City has made an impact to every believers from the youngest to the oldest generation.

It's a success and victory belongs to the Lord. oh glory to God in the highest.

The 11th year anniversary entitled YOU RAISE ME UP really raise our spirit up. There's a burning passion for revival and joy in the Lord. From the Intro songs to the closing prayer...all has been knit together according to the will and purpose of God.

But most importantly, souls came and the Lord conquered them. God's saving grace revealed over and over again. It don't stop in just seeking Him but in touching His heart and pleasing Him.

God be glorified in all of this for without Him we can do nothing.

It's Raining o Rain o Rain O Rain

....and God send forth rain.

When i thought of rain, i thought of the tears the fell many times which was cause by pain or confusion or suffering, not only from me but on what others experienced too.

Not until i come to know the Lord who send out rain.

RAIN for me is a blessing from above.

I know those who have enough supply of water will not be affected by this. But those who thirst for it will be very very happy for a vision or forecast of it.

RAIN makes a dry land wet. This means, it can make the an idle land became fruitful. Plant will grow, stomach will be fed. Oh how faithful God is.

RAIN makes a hot place a little colder. It will give good sleep. It will give rest to a tiring soul.

RAIN gives hope. Remember the rainbows after the rain?

RAIN is a gift. When was the last time you ever dance in the rain? oh how i love watching kids play in the rain. I love rain shower, i love boots haha. I love the water falling from the side of the house, i love the feeling of it in my body, it's like natural body massage hehe. Rain is LOVE.

RAIN (reigne) is the precious name given to my only sister. And RAIN is a privilege to share a love one to another.

RAIN comes from the Lord.

Let's Sing

Who doesn't love singing? even kids do sing...even kids appreciate songs bet it for kids like them or a little oldies for them.

And as we grow, it became our passion.

I love watching singing contest but i don't have the courage to sing infront of so many people.

Not until....God won me.

It's all His grace. I will sing as long as God wants me to sing.

There are times (many times), God tests me on this. He stopped me. He made me fall inlove with singing but He made me realized something...that it takes "A HEART" to sing.

That is why we are called worshipers and not performers. We ought to meet God's heart every singing privileges. We call onto to Him. We sing not for ourselves but for His greater glory.

We sing to touch God's heart.

We sing to give Him the glory due Him.

We sing to magnify His awesome Name.

We sing to lift His Name Higher.

We sing and we're not just singing.

We sing FROM THE HEART.

Let me Love

Compassion and Grace

These are two things that i believe God have on me.

He loves me because He's compassionate and gracious and not because i deserved or is worthy of being loved.

I usually send text messages with the end phrase, "i love you but Jesus loves you more"

I feel it deep within. I am capable of loving but Jesus is capable of loving MORE than we could ever imagine. His love is unconditional whereas my love at some point fails.

Oh many times, in my history of loving, i failed. But God moved me to love more and share some love to as many people as i could love not by my own strength but by the love imparted and modeled by my Precious Lord.

Here's my prayer:

Lord, let me love others the way You have loved me. So tender, so pure, so clean, so true, so special. Let me love not just in words but in actions that people may understand that the reason for loving is showing the same love that You Yourself have given us. I cannot die for them, Lord, but i can live with them for the many years You can give and bless me. Lord, i have friends that i don't endure being patient with anymore, but help me endure still. Let me love my friends like brothers and sisters molded in Your love. Let my friends feel and see the love and may the love that i could offer, strengthen, encouraged, and changed them for their best interest. And above all, let the love be the kind of love that glorifies You and You alone. In Jesus Name i pray, Amen.

Cleaning Time

We, in the music team, are trained to be RESPONSIBLE not only when it comes to singing or playing the instruments but with all the things we are holding like the microphones and wires, guitars, drums, etc.

Be POSITIVE

My phone dictionary defined this as,

"if you are POSITIVE, you are hopeful and confident, and think of the good aspects of a situation rather than the bad ones"

"A positive fact, situation, or experience is pleasant and helpful to you in some way"

And i am very positive that everything will turn out good no matter how bad the situation is because JESUS IS IN CONTROL.

In God's hands, we are sure of protection and guidance. But even though we are sure if we are not obedient to go into His direction then problems will arise.

I have a positive looks on things with regards to friends who seems like going into a seemingly complicated road.

Let me share to you a friend i love:

I am sure that she is heading to somewhere but i can only pray that she is open to obey directions. No matter how many positive words i can give her if she weighs it down, then time will come that i will be needing/using meat and not milk for her. I am positive because i love her. I am positive because i care for her. I am positive because i don't wanna give up on her. I am positive because she is worth fighting for.


Lord, let me love her one day at a time and help me not to give up on her.

PATIENCE

What the Scripture says about WAITING and in BEING PATIENT?

Let us first define the word.

PATIENCE is being able to wait or endure calmly. We can also say it is being able to persevere on something or someone.

Patience is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one's character can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast. Antonyms include hastiness and impetuousness. In this world where "instant" things happen, being patient has always been an issue. Even the creation of planes and jet planes, people still can't wait to fly home or away from home. People are still not content that they have a phone...they ache for more phone features. People still hunger for more instant oats, noodles, other foods, cash and even relationships.

What the Scripture says about being patient?

James 5:7 (King James Version)

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Thus says it all.

The reason for the said topic is that i would like to encourage myself and my readers to wait patiently knowing that what we desire or what we patiently wait for will happen to us according to the Lord's perfect will for us. Just wait. Be patient. Be courageous. Forget the frustrations in waiting. Be content. Trust in the Lord. Focus on His Word and promises. Remain calm and standing on the faith. Be an example. Be hopeful. Be brave. Be humble. Love still. Wait still. Bear still.

Lord, i ask You to help me in the journey on which i need to wait for Your perfect time and will for me. It is not only a desire but i am crying out to You for answer and for Your guidance. Lord, make me calm and let me endure the pains in waiting. Keep me strong and courageous. Keep me in Your loving embrace. Keep me in Your wings and never let me go as i trust in You. Hold me Lord, hold me. Consider my heart and help me wait . I trust in You Lord as i know that nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). Lord, bless Your Holy Name. Amen.

Love covers a multitude of sins

To whom this may concern:

Jesus loves us so much that He sacrificed His life, shed a blood, give Himself as ransom for all.

He never gave up. He conquered death. It's all because of love.

There are realities in life...like pain. If its a pain cause by a love one that would really be painful if we don't forgive.

Marriage is a union of two good forgivers. Marriage won't stand without love. Family would not stand without the head and the light.

Let love shines better than pain. Let love conquers every fears and burdens.

Do not give up on her or him.

Life has ups and downs. We don't know where you are standing right now. But we are praying for both of you. We love you, we love your family. May you choose to live a hundred more years loving and forgiving each other.

Love like you have never loved. Forgive and forgive. Forgiveness they said is like a glue that repairs broken relationship.

Be strong.

The devil is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Be not deceive. The devil came to destroy a family...but you are of Christ, what can the devil do to you. Because you LOVE, even the gates of hell shall not prevail against LOVE.

Love more and never give up for the battle is not yours but God's.

We are here. We are family. We love you both.

Colour my World

I love the shade of pink, blue, lavender, green and yellow. But my favorite is PINK. Maybe it's a girl thing or it's just really me.

Last sunday, we have our Winterfire Night event at Church which entitled "Colour my World". It was an awesome evening. We sing songs inspired by people who had been inlove.

I personally picked When God made You because it is the song in my wedding. And it has been one of my favorite song about love.

And i dedicate the song , not to my husband but to my Beautiful Saviour.

Why? Because God thought of me when Jesus became in the flesh to save me.

It's Jesus' heart and my heart.

It's about the Lord's lasting love.

A miracle came when God sends His PERFECT ONE.

Inspite of my mess, bad moods, attitude...the Lord remained faithful to me. He is patient. His grace and mercy endures, He is LOVE.

He Himself colors my world. So colorful...so real...so surrounded by Him.

Everyday is Prayer Day

PRAYER makes the weak.. strong.

PRAYER makes the hopeless.. hopeful.

PRAYER makes the sad..happy.

PRAYER changes lives.

PRAYER draw us closer to our Lord Jesus.

PRAYER is an everyday battle.

Why BATTLE?

Have you experienced waking up in the morning and the first thing you'll do thinking about your laundry? or what would you prepare for breakfast? or the other day's problems?

I do.

But not those things. I just have one and some days that i woke up thinking about what to do again for the whole day. I'm setting plans in my mind and before the day ends, i realized nothing on my plans are achieved. And then i ask, "what happened?" and again realized that of all my plannings, i forgot to ask the Lord for help and guidance and wisdom to be able to achieve something.

I was off work for months now. The first few days after my boss left for Korea and i lost my job, i thought LIFE IS COOL. Yeah...im out of work, i have time to relax, i have more time to spend with the family and friends and church people and i have that joy of being away from work pressures. Gone one month and then another month...suddenly i miss working. I missed earning. I missed saving. I missed wearing office uniforms and getting my salary and being acquainted with different people.

"PRAYER helps! Claim God's promise! Get an increase on your job!", Pastor stresses out last sunday service. And then he prayed over for those who have jobs. I don't have a job but i went in front, near the altar. They asked, "do you have a job?"...and i said, "no, but when i stand here, i am representing my husband, dad and mom, brothers and sister, and relatives."

God gave me reasons to pray.

God woke me up and tell me how important prayer is. It is our getting-to-know each other "thing", where i can be myself and where God can show Himself to me...His faithfulness, His grace, His loving-kindness, His Reasons.

The Scripture say, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.

We have to win the battle. We have too many things to pray about. Many things to tell the Lord. Many unuttered words that needs to be heard.

God is the answer. When we pray there will always be an answer. But we must conquer the battle from within us. Are we patient enough to win or lazy to lost.

I received God's Word today that says,

...Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid

nor dismayed because of this great multitude,

for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

2 Chronicles 20:15

Got my prayer answered. All the times the Lord never fails on His promise on giving us blessings according to His faithful will. And i live to testify that PRAYER  WORKS!!!
