Whew that must be a lot to maintain eh.
Blogging trained me to think on what to share whether it be daily experiences, daily encounter with the Lord, sharing on what is happening in the blog world or on anything that affects me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But as much as possible, i would like to blog or to write only for the glory of God.
Early today, my darling co-servant in Christ Marianne sent a morning message abour her "baon" or something she carry with her for the day. A word of encouragement straight from the Bible.
My devotion for today centered on God's love and what does this love affect us as God's children.
Deuteronomy 7:8 (King James Version)
"But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed..."
On Twitter, that's also my tweet all about. All about the LOVE of God. While the world today suffers economical pain, i pray God's children be nortured with love from the Father. Hard to tell but when we feel God's LOVE surrounding us everyday, no matter the circumstances, no matter the pain in this present world...God's love will remain and will be revealed. Thank You Lord!
On Facebook, i shared LOVE. Every now and then i received messages that give delights to the Lord Most High. My co-servant in Christ, my co-workers at Church, my friends and family who are dear to me shared the same kind of love...the LOVE only the Lord Jesus could give. Unconditional. Indescribable. Simply amazing. We just opened an account for our church last night. That's an awesome thing. I pray the Lord be glorified in everything that we put in there. And that God be exalted in everything that we do.
On Friendster, this is the place where i got my clan got to know each other. I put up a separate page for the family where we could know each other. It works. There has been reunions and it made each hearts joyful. Thanks be to God. It is where i shared my beloved whom God sent for me to have and to love. This account of mine has never been that updated since the rise of facebook. But i owe some to that account. A personal thing that lead me to be at peace in some point in my life. This is the site where i first made a blog.
LOVE...LOVE...LOVE...this will not end. It will endure. It will remain. While the other things are vanity, LOVE will stand perfectly. God is LOVE. Our Lord is forever.
Yes, I love you with the love of the Lord!

Words of Encouragement from Friends
I always received simple messages from my friends via text messaging, and it always made me glad and really blessed my heart.
Here are some that i would like to share:
Heart is not a basket for keeping tension and worries. It is a bouquet for keeping happiness. ~ Mae
If ever you feel God is taking something from your hand, don't get sad. He is only emptying your hand so you can receive something better. ~ Merissa
Your safety is equivalent to someone else's peace of mind. ~ Gideon
Carry laughter with you wherever you go. ~ Justine
A child asked his father: "why do i need to be humble?" His father said, "when you choose the lowest path, there's no place to fall and the only way is up." ~ Hi
Always say: "I am happy because God is with me. Where I am there He is. What I do, He sees. How I feel, He knows. Truly God is good. " ~ Merissa
God's Word is what will open our eyes and cure spiritual blindness. ~ Jaypee
The entrance of Your Word gives light...Psalm 119:130
God is awesome! God is good!
God is LOVE!

On Coffee
![]() |
| Photo from http://www.txberry.com/news/20090512/newsletter.html |
I started drinking a glass of coffee when i was in Baguio City 10 years ago. I was in college then and it was really cold in the mountaneous place in the northern part of Luzon, Philippines.
When i started working with my foreign bosses, that's when i began drinking 2 to 3 more mugs of coffee a day. That's a mixture of brewed and instant coffee.
It's addictive. It's dangerous. Some studies says drinking coffee weakens the bones. And i felt it within me...my bones.
Then instead of the water cleaning my body, i started feeling dizzy at some time and had been dehydrated.
I tried quitting. It's been actaully days or weeks now that i don't drink as much mugs as i can. But today, i had one. Yay...and my head begins to bother me.
Quit or no quit?
Lord, my body is Your temple. And i would like to stay healthy so You could use me in the ministry. Help me to take a really good care to this body. I am yours Lord. Coffee is just a thing in the world and it will pass away. It is vanity.
I would like to offer my body for the glory of my Lord and Savior. Willing to serve, willing to leave the things that are of this world.
Lord, have mercy.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (King James Version)
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
Can we Discern the Tongue
I always believed that whenever someone speaks in tongue in prayers, it should be interpreted by someone also.
We cannot judge, but we can discern whatever is the motives of the person.
Prayer does not require flowery words for God looks into our hearts. Whatever is the intent on the heart, it is the Lord who knew.
But people must understand what has been said or murmurings will follow. I heard people asking one to another what has been said because none understood. Is it on our language? Is it just to let others know that there's a tongue? Is it just an added thing in your prayer? Who knows?
When i heard the "tongue", i tried to understand it but to no avail. But i would like to know what does it mean.
Shalom everyone!!
1 Corinthians 14 (King James Version)
"1Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
2For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
3But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
4He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
5I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
6Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
7And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
8For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
9So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.
10There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
11Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
12Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
13Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
14For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
15What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
16Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
17For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified."

Places for Pre-Wedding Photos
Here's my list:
1. Volunteer's Park - me and my family's name where written on the walls as we volunteered to clean Subic Bay Freeport Zone (formerly known as Subic Naval Base for Americans).
2. Subic Lagoon - i went here alone when i was still single because i love the color of the place. I just love green hehe. Plus the goose and ducks walking. I love looking at the lagoon. We went here also while we are still dating hehe.
3. Subic Yatch Club - we sneeked in to get photos of the yatch and ourselves. We just tell the guard and the personnel that we're getting married and they let us in. This for us are Divine Favors. Thank You, Lord Jesus.
4. Subic Lighthouse - a very nice location for pre-wedding shoots. I have seen people and couple arranging their photo shoots here. But for me, i simply love the LIGHTHOUSE as it is very symbolical to our faith as Christians.
5. Subic Boardwalk - a very nice place for photo shoots. Actors and models went here to take the photos for their wedding too. Plus the sunset is awesome. That's God's wonderful creation. Love it.
Photos to follow.
Smile, God loves you.

The Cliff
Just got Married!!!! well days ago a month ago actually...(so this is a late blog haha)
I would like to share a place where we had our Wedding and the Reception at the same time.
It's called "The Cliff"! It's located at Km 133 National Hwy, Olongapo City, Philippines.
Because i am working still while preparing for our wedding, my then fiance (now my husband) was also incharged on looking for nice place where we could do the wedding. We have so many things and list. But when he brought me here, i told myself (even without knowing the cost), "i wanna get married here".
We also consider four more locations: Ann Raquel's Resort in New Cabalan, By the Sea Resort in Barretto, Roosevelt Park in Bataan and a private pool place in Gordon Heights. We checked on those this, as we also being wise on our budget.
And FINALLY...we decided to choose this place. My husband love it. From the very start we really wanted to get married near the beach.
Here's the map and direction:
I love to share photos of the place as this is one important journey in my life....my wedding.

WONDERS Oh WONDERS
As much as i wanted to release the beauty given by the Lord God Almighty...the beauty that defines who He is and what He looks like...shining like the sun, sweet as the morning dew drops from the flowers on your yard, as bright as the moon in the night, as precious as stones that glows and glows, as beautiful as the morning clouds, as indescribable as He is....i just cannot define the wonder of of so wonderful beauty of the Lord.
Many times, the Bible mentioned about His wonder...His beauty.
From the beautiful sea to the bountiful plants and trees covering the mountains
God is truly wonderful in all His works.
Not just for the mountains, and the trees and the seas, but as He created the human beings....His majesty unfolds and is seen by all.
Thanks be to God.
Feel God's love today.

SEATBELT PLEASE
There are so many road accidents that had happened. People seem like not learning from it. This is the reason why i am scared to try to learn how to drive because being a passenger alone doesn't guarantee safety for me. Whew, but i know i need to try and learn and promote safety as well.
It is only by the grace of our Lord Jesus that i was able to surpass any almost-an-accident event in my life.
Here's something i want to share to you guys on how important wearing your seatbelts is.
Embrace life. Love life. Love the Giver of Life.
God bless us all.
God is definitely with us all the way from here to eternity.

Wonder Where?
STRAIGHTWAY TO HER JOURNEY is a biblical account that i've read and it inspired me to name my travel blog this way.
I am a believer of Jesus. My journey experiences will not be possible without the Lord who grant me such pleasures and blessings and joys in travelings. He is my way, my only way. He is my source of everything. My needs are met because Jesus heard my prayers. My paths are clear and straight. My journey has been wonderful, awesome and beautiful because He is with me through it all.
By the grace of our Lord Jesus, my journey will be until ETERNITY....with Him.

Matthew 25
1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
